About the Meeting

The Eurojuris Practice Groups and Training Days have become a state of the art happening for networkers. The meeting takes place every year in May. This year, we welcome you to Edinburgh. Meet with your Eurojuris colleagues while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the city!

The Venue

The meeting will take place at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton located in the center of the city, on the famous Royal Mile.

Blending perfectly into the historic surroundings, the hotel is an iconic element of the city. The building dates back to 1900s and is part of the impressive North Bridge which links Edinburgh’s Old and New town together, giving you easy access to countless shopping, dining and entertainment.

    Departure from the hotel for a guided walking tour through the old town to Arthur’s Sea. Arthur’s Seat is an extinct volcano which sits 251m above sea level giving excellent views of the city. Groups of 20.
    Dresscode: casual, wear good walking shoes

  • Distillery Visit 16.00

    Upon descent from Arthur’s Seat, visit of one of Edinburgh’s newest distilleries for a tour and tasting.
    The Whisky tasting is sponsored by Burcher Jennings.

The Evening Venues

The Early Birds Dinner on Thursday will take us to Berties, “the place to be for proper fish & chips”. 

On Friday, we will enjoy dinner at the Cannonball, the finest Scottish dining and bar in the heart of the Old Town, with fabulous views of Edinburgh Castle.

On Saturday, we add an air of elegance to our evening with a gala dinner in the iconic Playfair Library Hall, featuring William Playfair’s signature neoclassical barrel-vaulted ceiling.

Take the number 100 bus to Waverley Bridge. From here it is a 5 minute walk to the Carlton Edinburgh hotel. The bus departs every 10 minutes and the journey takes approx. 35 minutes from door to door.
